Overview

Six Nines had been designing and building cloud environments for brave, disruptive businesses for a decade – working with the leading cloud platform vendors AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.

Whilst the client list and capabilities had matured massively, the business had long-outgrown its brand name, positioning and all associated marketing materials.

The Rubicon Agency was approached to develop a new brand, visual identity, messaging and portfolio articulation strategy that would appeal to its leading-edge client base, which includes Meta, Epic Games and Snap.

What we delivered

After a series of discovery and brand positioning workshops plus exercises to ensure cultural fit, The Rubicon Agency developed the new brand name ‘Nextira’. The name evokes the new era of possibilities created by the expert architecture and digital realisation capabilities of the business.

With a common agenda for developing intelligent experiences for immersive and simulated environments including the metaverse, XR, VR and AR, the business wanted to appeal to a progressive, tech-centric buyer that recognised the value of continuous, cloud native evolution.

Our intent was to create a confident corporate voice, point of view and tech evolution narrative that didn’t lean too heavily on cloud partner IP and credibility.

The Rubicon Agency created the messaging stack and thought leadership narratives to tell this story and the various journeys to be undertaken. These included Cloud Native Innovation, The Predictive Enterprise and Immersive Futures.  In conjunction with a vivid, powerful visual identity system, The Rubicon Agency wrote, designed and built a comprehensive website to usher-in the new brand under the mantra and strapline to ‘Seize the Future’.

What did the campaign achieve?

Through a multi-audience launch campaign, ‘Nextira’ was introduced to customers and partners. The various narratives and tools for the new venture landed well, with audiences comforted that their next-gen development requirements were in safe hands with a multi-cloud engineering consultancy capable of taking them from the big bang of full cloud migration, through to the seismic opportunities of Immersive Futures. Subsequently, Nextira’s rebrand helped elevate their capabilities to a level that became an appealing proposition for SI’s. Shortly after relaunch Nextira was acquired by Accenture.
