In that time, Impulse developed market-leading technical expertise and domain understanding for demanding operating environments such as vehicles, oil rigs, transportation, shipping, defence and manufacturing. These capabilities, in addition to emerging technology segments such as Industrial IoT created more sophisticated commercial opportunities for Impulse.
The challenge was how to articulate these more elevated capabilities, alongside the Impulse heritage in supply chain solutions. SIs, OEMs and other buyers for complex environments presented a great opportunity for these new capabilities. The Rubicon Agency was approached to undertake a comprehensive messaging, re-positioning and enhanced identity exercise that would put the business in a better position for conversations with existing customers – and would also generate net-new conversations from search.
The re-positioning exercise acted as a strong signal for everyone inside the business, providing a rallying call for how the extended range of solutions could be introduced through the customer experience. Similarly, it has generated strategic conversations with increasingly end-to-end solutions with partners and customers.
